Romans 13:7 Render to all men their dues. [Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.
I have seen people stand before doors, opportunities, men and systems that could have changed their lives for good but they never had the wisdom on how to relate with things more advantaged than them. Some sought to speak where they would have been silent and others took offense where yielding would have pacified offense.
One of the most powerful tools for one’s advancement is the circumference of their associations. You can never be bigger than the graces that are predominantly around you and in your reach to associate and relate with. One man said, “it’s as if you can never become a billionaire if you have never read a book by one or never interacted with a billionaire”.
When we learn how to deal with greatness, it’s what truly invites us and gives us a seat on the table of great men.
Whatever you relate with casually, you can never receive from! It’s divine wisdom to never take lightly the possibility that you could assimilate yourself with the graces working on other men through honor. Dishonor has kept many in mediocrity because association does not necessarily brood impartation if honor isn’t understood. Give honor to those whom honor is due!
PRAYER POINT
You carry the wisdom to know how to relate with those more advantaged, graced and affluent than you. As you do so, you’re invited into greater and bigger realms of access because you have learned how to deal with association.
